Outreach

Ladies of all ages gather in our Parish Hall the second and fourth Tuesdays of the month at 2pm for fellowship, laughter, and dancing. In worship of God, the dancing is usually circle or reel dancing in a place where women can express themselves in spiritual celebration.

The Preschool’s mission is to develop the strengths and interests of each individual child and to introduce a learning foundation. From language and literacy development to social skills and creative expression, they provide each child the discovery and experience that will enrich their character and help shape their future while providing a safe faith based nurturing environment.

As one of its founding churches, Ascension contributes to this community faith-based organization with a mission to prevent hunger and improve the quality of life for citizens residing in Pueblo County. They provide food, clothing, document assistance, prescription assistance, city transportation, hygiene essentials and more.

This volunteer group from Ascension helps unhoused and other needy persons to wash their clothes one day a month at Lady Fair Laundry in downtown Pueblo. They also provide personal hygiene packs and socks. View the schedule here.

Our Church and Parish Hall are available for celebrations, meetings, conferences and concerts in addition to the holy sacraments of Baptisms, Confirmations, Weddings and Funerals.
